  • Pacific Highway Upgrade - Harwood Bridge

    Current Projects

    Joint Venture Acciona Ferrovial has been awarded the contract to design and build the proposed new bridge over the Clarence River at Harwood, in New south Wales, Australia. The new 1.5 kilometre bridge will be built 70 metres downstream of the existing bridge and is the longest of more than 100 bridges to be built as part of the 155 km Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade.

    Nexus Infrastructure has been contracted to design, construct, finance, operate and maintain the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) in partnership with the Australian Government and Queensland Government. The Nexus Infrastructure consortium consists of Plenary Group, Cintra Infraestructuras Internacional S.L., Acciona Concesiones S.L., Acciona Infrastructure Australia, Ferrovial Agroman Australia and Transfield Services (Australia).

  • Northern Beaches Hospital Connectivity and Network Enhancement

    Current Projects

    The NSW Government is planning to upgrade roads around the new Northern Beaches Hospital with work planned to be completed in time for the hospital opening in 2018. These upgrades would provide customers with a better travel experience, increase the capacity of the road network and improve access through the area, including for pedestrians and cyclists.

  • Pacific Highway Upgrade - Warrell Creek to Nambucca Heads

    Ferrovial, in partnership with Acciona, have been awarded with a contract for the upgrade of a 19.5 km section of the Pacific Highway between Warrell Creek and Nambucca Heads, in New south Wales, Australia. The Pacific Highway is a heavily-transited route along the eastern seaboard of Australia, linking Sydney, its largest city, to Brisbane, the third-largest. The highway is being upgraded and expanded as part of the Federal and State Government's plan to complete this link to a four lane divided highway.

  • Pacific Highway Upgrade - Sancrox Interchange

    In February 2014, Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) awarded Ferrovial Agroman Australia the contract to build the Sancrox Interchange, near Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. This was the first stage of the Pacific Highway Upgrade Program between the Oxley Highway and Kempsey and Ferrovial's second awarded construction project in Australia.

  • Nelson Bay Road Upgrade

    In July 2013 Ferrovial Agroman (Australia) was successful in winning the contract with the New South Wales Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) to upgrade 4.2 Km of Nelson Bay Road, the longest section of the upgrade to dual carriageway between Bobs Farm a Anna Bay. It will involve reconstructing the existing carriage way and Constructing a second carriageway between Cromarty Lane, Bobs Farm and Port Stephens Drive roundabout, Anna Bay.
